About me
I love supervision, that I give and that I receive. I continue to be inspired by the support I gain from my supervisor, and feel privileged to be part of the continuing growth and development in my own supervisees. Supervision helps put our work into context, supporting us in a role that is mostly undertaken in isolation. It gives us ring-fenced time in a working week spent being so any things to so many people.
It’s my aim to support my supervisees to maintain a genuine sense of wellbeing in their working life. To encourage them to develop reflective skills so that they can be confident in the ethical choices they make while working. I want to support you to develop your own potential and challenge you in a supportive and non-judgemental way. I hope to enable you to become more resilient in your work.
My supervision style is also celebratory. I find that we learn from positive assignments as well as those that challenged us. We are hardwired to remember our mistakes and side-line our successes, so I like to make sure we also capture those wins.
