About me
I have been working as a BSL interpreter since 2012, initially as a trainee then RSLI. I added supervision as a regular part of my practice in 2019. Although it wasn’t always easy I found it to be a vital part of my wellbeing in my working life. I decided that I wanted to delve deeper into the supervision process and qualified as a professional supervisor in September 2025.
I believe that supervision can and should be a positive experience. I aim to create a space for reflection and playful thought. It is important to me not only to be looking for areas where we can improve but also focusing on what is already going well. I want to celebrate your wins with you. I want to support you in your professional development and challenge you in a safe and non-judgemental way. I work in a trauma informed way. My supervisor training was integrative and covered many different supervision models and styles. I don’t believe in ‘one size fits all’ supervision.
My interpreting experience has covered a wide range of domains with particular focus on interpreting in education, the arts and more recently VRS/VRI.
Please contact me if you have any questions or to set up a free introductory chat to see if we might be a good fit to work together.
